The British Heart Foundation Bike Ride

Kevin Whalley with his bicycle Kevin completed 45 miles bike ride round Surrey countryside to raise fund for the British Heart Foundation on Sunday 11 May 2009. The weather was perfect. Sunny and not much wind! He completed the ride in just over 5 hours.

There were about 200 cyclists and some mad ones! Kevin intends to do one or two more this year to raise fund for Margate School for the Deaf and other charities. So watch this space. Any other cyclists are welcome to join me if interested, please e-mail me at kevinw@kjwltd.co.uk. I look forward to hearing from you.

New Client - The British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust (BSLBT)

Poster depicting the wicked television series Kevin welcomes The British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust (BSLBT) as a client. One of their programmes is a new series called Wicked. BSLBT was established in 2008 to increase the amount of sign-presented programming on television and for Deaf people to work both on and behind the camera.

Kevin will be involved in every aspect of maintaining the financial records and preparing accounts and budgets for the Board of Trustees.

New Clients - Dental Practices

Kevin also recently welcomed clients Stevenage Dental Practice, based in Stevenage Town Centre and Agger & Pickering based in the City near the Swiss Re building (a.k.a The Gherkin). He is involved in setting up the accounting system and teaching the Practice Managers on controlling the books. Both dental practices have deaf awareness and they would welcome new deaf patients residing in their areas. Please e-mail me if you are interested in making contact with the dentists.
